Shift: Weekend Nights, 8:30p-7a, Fri, Sat, Sun with 8hr shift 2:30p-11p on Thursday (to make up the rest of the hours)
Requirements:
- 1.5+ years CT experience
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Sciences (AMA-approved)
- ARRT with CT certification (required)
- State general radiographer license (required)
- BLS and CPR (required)
Equipment Used:
- ER: GE 16-slice Brightspeed
- Main Dept: GE 64-slice VCT, GE 16-slice Optima 540
Responsibilities:
- Perform basic CT procedures (head, brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, biopsies, drainages)
- Venipuncture for injections
- Operate power injector, administer IV contrast per physician order
- Perform 3-D reformats on scanner/workstation
- Handle inpatient, outpatient, and ER studies
- Perform portable radiography, fluoroscopy, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging as needed
- Maintain proficiency in cross-sectional anatomy, sterile techniques, and contrast media procedures
