This position reports to Adsys Controls, Inc. Finance and Accounting Manager, a privately held company based in Irvine, CA. The position supports the Finance and Accounting Manager in providing transaction specific, routine support for accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, purchasing, payroll and routine account reconciliations. The position will also participate as needed in physical inventories, and audit support. The transactions are routine and all analysis is prepared in accordance with prepared templates for completion.
Requirements:
MS Excel power user
Accounts payable/Accounts receivable
Payroll experience (ADP a plus)
Self-motivated, with strong interpersonal skills
Effective communication on various levels, both verbal and written
0-5 years experience
Key responsibilities:
Manage accounts payable process cycle
Manage accounts receivable process cycle
Manage purchasing process cycle (Purchase requests & purchase orders for materials, subcontracts, etc.)
Process payroll data
Bank and credit card reconciliation
Audit and process expense reimbursement reports
General Ledger coding
Maintain fixed assets, prepaid expenses and accruals
Prepare journal entries for review
Assist with month end close process
Assist with preparing financial statement data for review
Work in partnership with finance and accounting manager to increase efficiency and productivity of accounting processes
Desired skills:
Project and Cost Accounting experience (desired)
DoD invoicing through WAWF (Wide Area Work Flow) a plus
Experience with Quickbooks a big plus*
Required Education:
A Bachelors degree in finance or accounting, or related field.
