Job Summary: The Accounting/Administrative Specialist will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting and administrative tasks to support the company's operations. This role requires a strong understanding of basic accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Functions:

  • Payroll: Process and manage payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Accounts Payable (AP): Handle all aspects of accounts payable, including invoice processing, vendor management, and payment disbursement.
  • Commissions: Assist in calculating and processing commissions for sales staff and agents, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
  • Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements, accounts, and ledgers to ensure accuracy.
Administrative Support
  • Office Management: Provide general administrative support, including managing office supplies, scheduling meetings, and maintaining office organization.
  • Communication: Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including emails, phone calls, and correspondence.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized records of financial transactions and administrative activities.
  • Support: Assist with various administrative tasks as needed to support the company's operations and team members.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting and administrative roles.
  • Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks), MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), and strong analytical skills.
  • Strong Excel skills are a must have.
  • Attributes: Detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
