Territory Manager

for the U.S. North Central Region (Upper Midwest), focusing on Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Indiana. This sales position involves direct responsibility for territory sales, primarily targeting distributors. Reporting to the Vice-President of U.S. Pipe Valve & Hydrant Sales, the role offers opportunities to expand industry knowledge and sales strategies, with a competitive salary, commissions, company vehicle, and full benefits. Responsibilities include: Calling on end users to promote product lines and develop specifications. Providing service to distributors, including quotations, training, support, and resolving issues. Training end users and distributors on product advantages. Building relationships with distributors and end users to increase demand. Setting sales goals to meet company targets. Identifying bid opportunities and providing project details and pricing strategies. Supporting after-sales service, warranty, and claims. Participating in trade organizations to promote products. Updating the customer database for the territory. Providing monthly sales forecasts and market insights. Qualifications: At least 2 years of outside sales experience in water distribution or related fields. Comfort with selling technology-based solutions and using CRM software. Valid driver’s license with no major violations. Ability to travel approximately 75% of the time (3-4 days/week). Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to deliver presentations and stand for extended periods. Ability to lift over 40 lbs. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or communications. Mechanical aptitude. This position is salaried, exempt from overtime, with work hours Monday through Friday, with occasional evening meetings during travel.
