The Home Depot Position Purpose At The Home Depot, we get UX; it is baked into our DNA. Now we are expanding our team to drive new initiatives. As a member of the UX team, you will work with other strategists, designers, and researchers to help craft end-to-end experiences and identify customer needs. Key Responsibilities 25% - Active Contributor in Planning and Strategy Activities:
Executes on the experience vision & purpose, combines user research outputs with OKRs, drives alignment with partners, and proactively identifies additional value across experience domains. 5% - Coaching and Mentoring:
Coaches junior resources, mentors apprentices, and refers outside talent. 70% - Delivery and Execution:
Advocates for design-centered thinking, provides UX artifacts, tests usability, and leads data collection and synthesis. Additional Details This position reports to the User Experience Manager and has no direct reports. Travel is typically 5-20% overnight. Most work is performed indoors, with occasional light moving or lifting. Minimum qualifications include being 18+, legally permitted to work in the U.S., with 4+ years of UX experience, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Preferred qualifications include 5-7 years of UX experience in enterprise or retail environments, experience with agile teams, and the ability to manage complex projects.
