Associate Attorney - Personal Injury

We are a resourceful, solutions-oriented, fast-paced, and dynamic team currently seeking an Associate Attorney to join our firm. Essential Duties: Draft and prepare briefs, settlement offers, discovery motions, motions for summary judgment, and all trial motions. Take and defend depositions from witnesses, parties, and experts at all levels. Correspond with clients and opposing counsel. Interview clients to understand case details, identify issues, and develop strategies for settlement or trial. Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel on behalf of clients. Prepare cases for trial by interviewing witnesses, gathering evidence, and conducting investigations. Assist clients in preparing for mediation sessions or settlement conferences. Educate clients about their legal rights and responsibilities throughout the process. Prepare and file court documents such as complaints or motions. Represent clients in court proceedings. Required Skills and Experience: Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar. At least 3 years of experience in general liability or personal injury law. Trial experience is preferred. Ability to negotiate favorable and cost-effective settlements. Ability to manage and prioritize a large and complex caseload. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong research and analytical skills. Empathetic and emotionally intelligent. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
