JOB SUMMARY :
The Director, Paid Media is a strategic leader responsible for driving innovative, results-oriented digital campaigns across programmatic, social, search, display, video, and mobile. This role manages a small team and works cross-functionally to align paid campaigns with client goals, performance metrics, and agency growth targets. You are an expert in leading multi-brand, multichannel paid strategies with a strong focus on client ROI, team development, and emerging digital trends. You play a key role in operationalizing new services and driving revenue growth within Giant Noise. RESPONSIBILITIES : Strategic Planning & Media Leadership: Collaborate with key stakeholders to define measurable goals and KPIs, tailoring digital campaigns to maximize ROI and drive business growth. Design, manage, and optimize paid ad campaigns across social media and digital platforms, including programmatic, social, search, display, video, and mobile. Campaign Management & Performance: Conduct performance analysis using various tools, providing actionable insights to optimize ad spend, targeting, and creative executions. Regularly present performance summaries and recommendations to leadership and clients, with detailed reports and actionable suggestions for future campaigns. Industry Knowledge & Data-Driven Insights: Leverage data analytics to track campaign performance and ROI, developing reports on key metrics and trends. Share insights to support data-driven decision-making. Team Management & Cross-Functional Leadership: Manage and mentor a small team of media professionals, fostering continuous learning and innovation. Lead collaboration across teams to support a unified agency approach. Business Development: Drive growth of new services by conceptualizing and operationalizing innovative products. Contribute to revenue growth by developing scalable frameworks and participating in industry events to incorporate emerging insights. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : Experience : 7-10 years in digital marketing, with a track record of managing large multi-channel campaigns and budgets. Management : 2-3 years of experience leading and developing teams. Education : Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field. Client Experience : Proven experience managing multi-brand, multi-channel paid media strategies and presenting insights to senior clients. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS : Paid Media Platforms : Proficiency in Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads, X / Twitter Ads, Amazon Advertising, and programmatic DSPs like The Trade Desk or DV360. Social Media Expertise : Deep understanding of platform-specific strategies, audience behaviors, and campaign optimization. Experience with tools like Sprout Social is expected. Analytics & Attribution : Strong skills in Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, and familiarity with attribution tools such as Triple Whale, Northbeam, or Rockerbox. CRM & Ecommerce Integration : Experience with platforms like HubSpot, Salesforce, Klaviyo, Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, and connecting paid efforts with broader martech stacks. Strategic Thinking & ROI Focus : Ability to connect media initiatives to business goals and optimize based on data insights. Project Management : Skills in prioritizing tasks, managing deadlines, and reporting across multiple projects, with familiarity with tools like Asana, Trello, Monday.com, or Basecamp. Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication, comfortable presenting to teams and clients. Team Collaboration : Leadership skills to motivate and manage teams, fostering a respectful and inclusive culture. Problem-Solving & Technology Awareness : Quick problem-solving skills and staying updated with evolving digital tools and practices. Research & Industry Trends : Strong research skills and a commitment to understanding industry shifts and audience behaviors. WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS : Physical Demands : Sitting 85%, standing 15%. Working Hours : Typically 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM CST, with occasional evenings and weekends. Travel : Weekly travel for meetings and events as needed. Physical Ability : Capable of lifting 20-50 lbs. Manual Dexterity : Regular use of hands for computer work. Sensory Function : Use of vision and hearing, including exposure to computer screens. Environment : Mainly indoor work, with travel and on-site meetings.
