Insights & Analytics
ZS's Insights & Analytics group partners with clients to design and deliver solutions to help them tackle a broad range of business challenges. Our teams work on multiple projects simultaneously, leveraging advanced data analytics and problem-solving techniques. Our recommendations and solutions are based on rigorous research and analysis, underpinned by deep expertise and thought leadership.
What You’ll Do
Develop advanced and efficient statistically effective algorithms that solve high-dimensionality problems.
Utilize technical skills such as hypothesis testing, machine learning, and retrieval processes to apply statistical and data mining techniques to identify trends, create figures, and analyze relevant information.
Collaborate with clients and stakeholders at ZS to integrate and communicate analysis findings effectively.
Contribute to the assessment of emerging datasets and technologies impacting our analytical platform.
Engage in developing assets and accelerators that foster scalability.
Support research and publication efforts to advance thought leadership.
Provide guidance and mentorship to Associate team members.
What You’ll Bring
A PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, or a relevant field, or a master’s degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
Strong academic performance with coursework emphasizing analysis and quantitative skills.
Knowledge of big data, advanced analytical concepts, and algorithms (e.g., text mining, social listening, recommender systems, predictive modeling).
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, R).
Experience with tools/platforms such as Hadoop ecosystem, AWS, or database systems.
Proficiency in agile project planning and management techniques.
Prior leadership experience in relevant roles.
Fluency in English.
Additional Skills
Relevant domain knowledge in healthcare, transportation, technology, insurance, or related areas.

Travel
Travel is required for client-facing ZSers; project and client needs take priority. While some projects are local, all client-facing ZSers should be prepared to travel as needed.
