In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in accordance with our menu standards while ensuring food safety and cleanliness in the kitchen. You will work closely with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
*Responsibilities*
* Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards. * Assist in menu planning and food preparation for catering events as needed. * Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety guidelines. * Utilize proper knife skills for food preparation, ensuring precision and efficiency. * Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely service during peak hours. * Help manage inventory and assist in ordering supplies for the kitchen. * Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience in food preparation or cooking within a kitchen environment. * Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, including knife skills and cooking methods. * Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in a culinary setting. * Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. * Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration in the kitchen. * Previous experience in catering or working within a dietary department is a plus but not required.
