STRS Ohio, STRS STRS Ohio is seeking an Investment Performance Analyst II – Private Market or a Senior Investment Performance Analyst – Private Market to join the Finance/Employer Accounting team. Compensation: Grade 10 - $74,520 - $89,424 Grade 12 - $96,411 - $115,693 Work Schedule: 8:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday (Onsite) General Summary (Grades 10 or 12): Under the direction of the supervisor, Investment Performance, provide accounting and performance reporting support to ensure accurate analysis and reporting of investment performance.

(Grade 10)

Under the direction of the supervisor, Investment Performance, analyze investment performance results utilizing internal investment performance systems to ensure accurate analysis and reporting of investment accounting and performance.

(Grade 12) Summary of Responsibilities (Grades 10 or 12): Review global custodian’s investment performance results and market values and compare internal estimates of performance and external manager performance.

Calculate, maintain, and analyze investment performance and benchmark data to ensure accuracy in measurement and reporting.

(Grade 12)

Reconcile the third-party alternative investment administrative and integrated investment management system, SimCorp Dimension.

(Grade 10)

Ensure accuracy between the global custodian’s investment performance results and market values to the internal estimates of performance and external manager performance.

(Grade 12)

Monitor and report on daily and monthly private market investment performance data and investment returns, including liquid alternatives.

(Grade 10)

Review monthly real estate performance by ensuring all pricing feeds have occurred on private and public real estate as well as evaluating system-generated returns and valuation adjustments.

(Grade 10)

Responsible for reconciliation between third-party alternative investment administrative and integrated investment management system, SimCorp Dimension.

(Grade 12)

Relationship management of third-party alternative investment administrator providing guidance and communication of STRS Ohio specifications and requirements.

(Grade 12)

Review monthly real estate performance by ensuring all pricing feeds have occurred on private and public real estate as well as evaluating system-generated returns and valuation adjustments.

(Grade 10)

Responsible for various monthly performance processes, including index maintenance, alternative investment pricing, and Global custodian performance data loads into the internal investment performance systems.

Responsible for reconciling accounting and performance data between the integrated investment management system, SimCorp Dimension, investment book of record (IBOR), the official internal performance system, and the integrated investment management system, SimCorp Dimension, accounting book of record (ABOR).

Summary of Qualifications (Grades 10 or 12): Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or related field required.

Master’s degree in finance, accounting or business preferred. (Grade 12)

Three to five years of related experience required. (Grade 10)

Five to seven years of related experience required. (Grade 12)

Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred. (Grade 12)

Ability to understand, analyze and develop reports for investment portfolio management and performance reporting. (Grade 12)

Knowledge of investment management industry and custodial banking relationships preferred.

Experience in investment performance systems and industry performance standards required.

High level of quantitative, analytical and mathematical skills required.
