The Foundation provides tools and resources for individuals and organizations to understand planned giving, complex giving vehicles and providing administrative support. Purpose and Scope
The Visual Marketing & Design Coordinator is responsible for the branding, design, and visual storytelling of the Foundation. This role focuses on graphic design, social media visuals, photography, video production, and maintaining brand consistency across all marketing materials. The position plays a critical role in ensuring that all communication materials align with the Foundation's visual identity and aesthetic. This onsite position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer.
Job Responsibilities
1. Calendaring & Strategy
Provide information for the communication calendar to align design projects with Foundation goals. Collaborate with the Communication & Impact Coordinator and CFO to develop a cohesive marketing plan. 2. Website Design Management
Own the 'look' and aesthetics of the Foundation's website, including images and layout of key pages. Manage the relationship with external website providers with an emphasis on website functionality and managing available maintenance hours each month. 3. Social Media & Digital Communication
Develop and execute a social media content plan in collaboration with leadership and the Communication & Impact Coordinator. Design graphics and visuals for social media posts, email campaigns, and marketing materials. Capture and edit photos and video media to be used for marketing, communications, and Foundation publications. 4. Branding & Design
Design brochures, event materials, PowerPoint presentations, and other collateral. Ensure a consistent and professional visual identity across all platforms and publications. Assist in developing branding guidelines and templates for use across departments. 5. Event & Media Production
Capture and edit high-quality photos and videos that showcase the Foundation's mission and impact. Provide creative direction for event branding, signage, and promotional materials. Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Strong skills in graphic design, photography, and video editing. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro) and Canva. Experience with social media content creation and digital marketing. Understanding of website design principles and UX/UI best practices. Ability to work collaboratively and ensure brand consistency across platforms. Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills. Commitment to the Catholic faith and values. Education
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in graphic design, marketing, communications, or related field. At least 3-5 years of experience in design, branding, or marketing roles. Experience in social media management, website design, and visual storytelling. Knowledge of photography, videography, and editing software. Strong portfolio showcasing design and visual media work.
