Senior SailPoint Engineer

to support the U.S. Department of Transportation’s (DOT) critical cybersecurity initiatives. This role is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the SailPoint IdentityIQ platform, ensuring operational efficiency, data integrity, and compliance with DHS CISA and DOT requirements. The ideal candidate will be a certified SailPoint professional with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment. Requirements Deploy software updates and enhancements to the SailPoint IdentityIQ platform. Monitor and report on SailPoint IdentityIQ operations, ensuring performance and compliance. Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities within the platform. Provide on-call and after-hours support as required. Participate in annual Disaster Recovery (DR) testing and document DR plans. Offer subject matter expertise to recommend and implement platform improvements. Ensure compliance with DOT change management processes. Enhance reporting capabilities to meet CDM dashboard compliance per DHS CISA standards. Required Qualifications: Active

SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Engineer

certification. Proven experience in SailPoint IdentityIQ deployment, configuration, and maintenance. Strong understanding of identity and access management (IAM) best practices. Experience in security vulnerability identification and remediation. Excellent documentation, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Ability to provide after-hours/on-call support as needed. Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting federal government programs or working in regulated environments. Familiarity with DHS CISA compliance requirements. Knowledge of DOT IT policies and change management processes.
