Position Description

The Lead Pastor will serve as the spiritual leader of a multigenerational church of approximately 250 members. This individual will be responsible for preaching, teaching, pastoral care, leadership development, and vision casting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a Christ-centered character, strong biblical teaching, and the ability to minister effectively across generational lines. Key Responsibilities: Preach and teach the Word of God in a way that is biblically sound and relevant to all age groups. Provide spiritual leadership and pastoral care to the congregation. Lead and collaborate with church staff, elders, and ministry leaders. Cast and communicate a compelling vision for the church’s future. Foster a culture of prayer, discipleship, and outreach. Equip members for ministry and service. Manage administrative responsibilities including budgeting and planning. Promote unity and resolve conflicts with grace and wisdom. Engage with the local community and lead the church in mission and evangelism. Qualifications: A deep, personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a life that reflects biblical leadership qualities (1 Timothy 3, Titus 1). Proven experience in pastoral ministry, preferably in a multigenerational context. Strong preaching and teaching skills. Excellent relational and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to lead collaboratively and manage church operations. A heart for shepherding and equipping others for ministry.
