Job Summary: Responsible for executing sourcing strategies that ensure a reliable supply of forging and machining components to support production, services, and NPI programs. The role focuses on supplier evaluation, selection, qualification, and performance improvement to achieve objectives related to cost, quality, delivery, and risk management. The Sourcing Specialist will serve as the subject matter expert in forging and machining technologies and related industries, ensuring optimal procurement of these commodities. The ideal candidate will have practical experience with forging and machining operations, preferably within turbomachinery products and/or nickel, stainless steel, and specialty alloys. A working knowledge of mill sourcing for these alloys is also beneficial for managing subtier supply chain risks and developing resiliency strategies.

Key Responsibilities: Lead sourcing activities including supplier discovery, onboarding, and qualification Monitor supplier performance and implement development strategies Execute risk mitigation and business continuity plans Manage supplier relationships and guide contract development and compliance Develop cost strategies and identify TCO reduction opportunities Analyze market trends and support decision-making through data-driven insights Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering and manufacturing Travel domestically and internationally to supplier sites as required Required Qualifications:

Master's Degree with minimum of 5 years of experience, or a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience. Experience with ERP software and proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio) Fluent in Business English in written and oral form and locally mandated languages as required. Experience with machining and forging suppliers, or the engineering or procurement of forged and machined products. Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Preferred Qualifications:

Master's in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain Supply chain certification (e.g., APICS, ISM) Experience with specialty alloys and associated mill sourcing Understanding and demonstration of 6-Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles. Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma (Greenbelt/Blackbelt) certification.
