Start Date: ASAP | Available Shifts: 6 half days of endoscopy, 2 half days of clinic, 2 half days off | Pay Rate: $340,000 - $400,000

Joe R. & Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio

The Division of Gastroenterology in the Department of Medicine at the Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine, UT Health San Antonio, is seeking a full-time academic Gastroenterologist (GI) Clinician/Educator at the Assistant Professor level to strengthen our patient care and teaching missions.

The successful candidate will provide inpatient GI consultation and endoscopy services at University Hospital, participate in outpatient GI consultations and endoscopy services at the Robert B. Green Campus of University Health System and the Medical Arts & Research Center, and will have opportunities to teach Gastroenterology Fellows, mentor in clinical research, and pursue scholarly activities.

Applicants must possess a Texas Medical Board license or be in the process of obtaining one, and be Board certified or in the process of certification in gastroenterology.
