This assignment is ideal for physicians looking to practice in a low-volume, single-coverage ED environment with robust Hospitalist support for admissions and manageable patient volumes.

- ED Beds: 9 (within a 49-licensed-bed facility, 24 staffed beds)
- Patients per Hour: ~1.5
- Trauma Designation: Non-Trauma Center

- Admitting Orders: Managed by Hospitalist Team
Schedule & Coverage
- Shifts per Month: 8-10 shifts preferred
- Shift Times:
- Days: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Single MD Coverage)
- Nights: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Single MD Coverage)
- APC Support: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM (10 hours daily)
- Shift Flexibility: Days, Nights, and Swing Shifts Considered
Candidate Requirements
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM), Family Medicine (ABFM), or Internal Medicine (ABIM)
- Required: 5 Years of Recent Emergency Medicine Experience (Case Logs Required)
- Active Tennessee Medical License & DEA (Clean File Preferred for Expedited Privileges)
- Certifications: ACLS & PALS Required
- Must be comfortable with standard ED procedures
