VHS is looking for a qualified Physician - Emergency Medicine.

- Description: CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson, cared for by HealthSource Partners LLC, is in need of Emergency Medicine coverage. This will be ongoing coverage with no gaps. The current schedule includes 2 providers per 24 hours working 12-hour shifts, supplemented with employed APPs working 10 am - 10 pm. Open dates include May 6-10 nights, May 11 days, May 15-17 nights, May 23-26 nights, May 26 day, June 1 and 2 days and nights, June 3-5 nights, June 9-16 days, June 20-22 nights, June 23 days, June 28 and 29 nights, June 29-30 days. Rates to submit must include malpractice. Orientation pay is half the hourly rate, with additional hours paid after 8 hours. The client aims for a rate around $345/hour for boarded EM candidates. Holiday pay is typically at the regular rate but may be accepted at 1.5x or less. Requirements include an average of 1.5 patients per hour, 12 hours of mid-level assistance during peak hours, proficiency with Meditech EMR, comfort with all ages, at least 250 case logs in the past year, ATLS certification (ND requirement), and proficiency with procedures such as intubations, chest tubes, central lines, procedural sedation, airway management, OB/GYN, deliveries, and adult/pediatric resuscitation. The hospital resembles a larger facility but is a critical access hospital with substantial support staff. Credentialing takes up to 4 weeks or less; temporary privileges are available. Travel coverage includes flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage, with preferred hotels. Local candidates are preferred and will be prioritized over travel candidates.
