Job Summary The Individual Contributor will provide excellent customer service and product information, solutions, and relevant details to patients and providers. The role emphasizes above-and-beyond communication to ensure patients feel heard, understood, valued, and connected with Apria. Key responsibilities include: Evangelize our customers and turn disgruntled patients into our biggest fans. Support field teams, operations, and sales by delivering timely feedback to enhance patient experiences. Critically problem-solve complaints by identifying trends and partnering cross-functionally for solutions. Create a proactive, positive patient experience. Champion employee experience and foster our company culture. Support development and implementation of employee programs aligned with company values. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Support branches across designated markets. Review patient accounts, obtain documentation from referral sources, and facilitate billing to maximize insurance benefits. Research and secure necessary information from customers to maintain coverage. Manage relationships with field leadership, referrals, and patients through effective outreach. Evaluate documentation for compliance with standards and regulations. Perform follow-up to ensure timely reimbursement. Minimum Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 3-5 years experience in healthcare or health insurance industry. Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Patient-Focused: Prioritize patient objectives and tailor activities accordingly. Action-Oriented: Proactively address problems and opportunities with minimal supervision. Collaborative: Work effectively across teams and functions. Effective Communicator: Convey information clearly and transparently. Energetic & Passionate: Demonstrate enthusiasm for health and well-being. Relationship Builder: Engage others and build influential networks. Computer Skills Intermediate proficiency in Access, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, Word. Language Skills English (reading, writing, verbal). Mathematical Skills Intermediate proficiency in understanding and developing spreadsheet data. Physical Demands This is a stationary role requiring frequent sitting or standing, repetitive wrist motions, speaking, listening, and visual focus. Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs may be required. Other Information This role is remote, US-based, and requires residing and working within the United States. Company equipment and systems are monitored for security.
