Data Manager Type : Full-Time About the Role We're partnering with a promising non-profit organization looking for a Data Gov Manager to drive their Data Governance strategy. We’re looking for an experienced Data Manager to lead the development of a data governance framework, oversee data quality and reporting initiatives, and manage a small team of data professionals. This is a strategic and collaborative role requiring strong communication across departments, light technical experience, and a passion for turning complex data into actionable insights. Key Responsibilities Design and implement a scalable data governance framework Manage and mentor a team of 2–3 data staff Oversee the integration, standardization, and documentation of data from multiple systems Support reporting and dashboarding needs using Power BI Maintain data catalogs and ensure data accuracy and consistency Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders Provide training and documentation to non-technical users Ensure compliance with data privacy and regulatory standards Support data infrastructure and pipeline work within an AWS environment Qualifications 5+ years in data management, governance, or analytics Proven experience managing or mentoring technical teams Solid understanding of SQL, ETL processes, Power BI, and working within cloud environments (AWS preferred) Strong communication skills and experience working cross-functionally Familiarity with data governance best practices and compliance standards Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Data Science, Information Systems) Seniority level
