Continue with Google 2 weeks ago Be among the first 25 applicants Description The BPM Lead Developer is responsible for architecting, building, and implementing applications utilizing the Decisions BPM platform, which provides no-code integrated workflows and rules engines for business process automation in custom applications. The role involves collaborating with the product team to translate business requirements and user stories into functional applications through analysis, design, and development. A commitment to collaborative problem solving and quality products is essential. Note: Candidates must be located in the Central or Eastern Time Zones to ensure effective collaboration across teams. Duties/Responsibilities Translate business requirements and user stories into functional applications. Design workflows, rules engines, and low-code integrations by preparing workflow diagrams based on programming knowledge and business logic. Develop, test, and maintain applications ensuring optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness. Manage junior BPM development resources. Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs. Contribute to maintaining application quality, organization, and automation. Participate in agile development teams and promote a positive, innovative culture. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business/Process Analysis, or related field, or equivalent industry experience. 4+ years of experience with BPM or IPaaS tooling. Experience with BPM solutions such as Decisions, MuleSoft, Pentaho, Boomi, etc., with relevant training or certifications. Experience with agile software development and DevOps is a plus. Experience working with commercial lending and financial data is a plus. Required Skills/Abilities Understanding of software development concepts like data types, variables, exception handling, etc. Knowledge of workflow technology and process automation. Development experience with programming languages. SQL and relational database skills. Ability to create database schemas supporting business processes. Experience with iterative and incremental development processes. Desire to continually learn and improve. Physical Requirements Prolonged sitting and working on a computer. Clear communication skills. Ability to operate office equipment and move objects up to 20 pounds. This description reflects the essential functions but is subject to change.
