Enterprise Tool Developer and Quality Support Specialist- Remote Program Summary:
KBR's KAS program provides comprehensive Quality Engineering, Inspection, and Program Management services supporting Honeywell Aerospace. Services include First Article Inspections (FAIs), Source Inspections, Supplier Performance Management, and Customer Site-Based Quality & Program Management. The program emphasizes quality engineering, counterfeit parts management, process improvements, analytics, database management, and supply chain expertise. KBR is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D, and is recognized as the top Honeywell-rated vendor on the digital dashboard. Job Summary:
We seek a skilled professional to enhance an enterprise-wide business tool. This individual will develop and deploy system improvements, support daily tool operations, and handle administrative and customer interactions. Roles and Responsibilities: Develop and deploy enterprise tool changes as requested. Create test methods and schemes including user testing. Support daily operations and support requests. Collaborate on feature requests and scheduling. Partner cross-functionally on assessments and implementations. Assist in operational decision-making. Engage with customers on tool issues. Perform other related duties. Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma required; associate or bachelor’s preferred. At least 5 years of experience in Java, Oracle, JBOSS, Linux application programming, or equivalent. US Citizenship required due to ITAR and customer requirements. Strong customer service and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of data structures, object-oriented design, algorithms, troubleshooting. Experience with Java APIs, JBOSS on Linux/Unix, Linux scripts, Oracle database design, RESTful web services. Experience with modernizing legacy Java applications, security remediation, cloud services (Azure), problem-solving, and managing multiple projects.
