Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Solution Architect with 10+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise ServiceNow solutions. This role demands deep expertise in ITSM, ITOM, and CSM, with strong architectural leadership and governance capabilities. The ideal candidate will be adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams and aligning ServiceNow implementations with business and IT strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Solution Design
Lead the end-to-end architecture and design of ServiceNow implementations.
Define technical standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.
Architect scalable, maintainable solutions across multiple modules including ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD, SecOps, and GRC.
Provide architectural oversight for custom applications and platform extensions.
Development & Implementation
Oversee the development of workflows, business rules, UI policies, and scripts.
Ensure optimal performance, security, and compliance across implementations.
Lead upgrades, migrations, and custom integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, and MID Servers.
Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership
Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Provide mentorship and technical leadership to development teams.
Conduct impact assessments, architecture reviews, and solution validations.
Governance & Optimization
Implement governance policies to maintain platform integrity and consistency.
Conduct platform health checks and performance tuning.
Ensure compliance with ITIL and enterprise architecture standards.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Drive automation initiatives and leverage AI capabilities within the platform.
Stay current with ServiceNow releases and industry trends.
Conduct service reviews and evaluate post-implementation outcomes.
Required Qualifications
ServiceNow Expertise
10+ years of experience in ServiceNow solution architecture and development.
Proven expertise in ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD, GRC, SecOps, and custom app development.
Strong understanding of CSDM, CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.
Skilled in scripting and configuration using JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Flow Designer, etc.
Extensive experience with third-party integrations via REST/SOAP APIs, LDAP, SSO, and Integration Hub.
Technical & Architecture Skills
Solid background in enterprise/SaaS architecture and cloud computing.
Knowledge of microservices, API integration strategies, and modern software architecture.
Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD methodologies.
Soft Skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Strong leadership, mentoring, analytical, and troubleshooting capabilities.
Preferred Certifications
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD, SecOps, or GRC)
