DIRECT HIRE:
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Electrical Technician to join a dynamic team.
Primary responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining high-speed production and packaging equipment, specifically as a source of knowledge for electrical motors, drives and major components.
Working knowledge of practices, tools equipment and materials utilized within the mechanics trade, experience in repairing and troubleshooting production equipment.
Abilities include great evaluation skills, originality and ingenuity required.
Hourly Range:
$40hr - $45hr Benefits:

Role & Responsibilities:
Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions. Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical / electrical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments. Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and condition of parts. Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments. Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges. Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance. Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment. Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; generating purchase requisitions. Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed. Provides mechanical / electrical maintenance information. Prepares mechanical / electrical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications; establishing personal networks. Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Other duties as assigned. Skills/Qualifications:
Electrical Journeyman’s Papers Ability and desire to attain Master Electrician Papers Equipment Maintenance, Technical Understanding, Technical Zeal, Deals with Uncertainty, Electrical Safety Knowledge, Power Tools, Attention to Detail, Flexibility, Supervision, Job Knowledge, Productivity Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, this team member is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop; kneel; crouch or crawl; talk or hear.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, this team member is working within normal manufacturing conditions at a moderate noise level.
On occasion may need to perform some duties within the hot, dusty, or cramped areas. Additional PPE is required.
