We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Controller to lead daily inventory operations across two warehouse locations. This role is responsible for managing inventory levels, overseeing staff, and ensuring accurate, efficient, and safe inventory practices to support production and customer fulfillment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to support production needs and prevent overstock or stockouts. Oversee the organization and storage of inventory; implement and maintain efficient warehouse layouts that support safe and effective workflows. Supervise and mentor inventory staff, delegate daily tasks, provide on-the-job training, and support team development. Ensure inventory accuracy through scheduled cycle counts, reconciliations, and audit processes. Maintain accurate inventory records in the IQMS ERP system, ensuring timely updates of all inventory transactions. Develop, implement, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory control and warehouse operations. Analyze inventory data to identify discrepancies, usage trends, and areas for operational improvement. Create and manage Kanban systems to maintain smooth material flow and production readiness. Develop and maintain a bin location system to ensure consistent, accurate identification of inventory, both physically and systemically. Coordinate with production and engineering teams to process vendor RMAs and manage the disposition of defective or nonconforming products. Requirements

3+ years of inventory or warehouse operations experience, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Strong working knowledge of inventory systems; IQMS experience preferred. Proven ability to lead a team in a hands-on operational setting. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Familiarity with lean principles, Kanban, and continuous improvement processes is a plus.

Salary Description

$75,000-$85,000
