Job Description: - significant increase in internal AI productivity offerings at Company over the last year, such as Go Chat and an earlier version of Chat GPT, and the integration of Gemini into Google tools - production signals indicated a need for smaller market tools to aid in scheduling, budgeting, and planning for titles
Responsibilities of this role will include: • Providing insights and guidance on AI productivity solutions to studio/production team members, including creating lightweight training materials • Maintaining awareness of AI productivity offerings available in the market • Communicating to internal team members at various levels of the organization (from individual contributors to senior executive leaders), in both small and large group settings, and asynchronously (e.g. memorandums, presentations, email, Slack) • Piloting and testing AI productivity solutions for viability, security, and workflow integration potential • Fostering awareness with studio/production team members of internal productivity offerings and training • Representing studio/production needs in partnerships with Studio Product teams • Leading the roll-out and operationalization of AI productivity solutions to studio/production team members • Collaborating with cross-functional partners (e.g. Legal, Security) around AI productivity initiatives • Coordinating decision making related to internal AI productivity offerings across regions and functions within a large organization
Qualifications: • Ability to quickly grasp concepts related to innovative technology • Demonstrated experience and fluency in the utilization of major AI productivity tooling (e.g. Google Gemini, ChatGPT), with the curiosity and capability to rapidly learn how to use new tools • Strong understanding of studio/production workflows (i.e. physical production, postproduction, VFX), 5+ years prior experience in a studio or production role preferred • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including an affinity for simplifying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences • Great organizational skills with the proficiency to coordinate multiple initiatives, manage timelines, and drive data-informed decision making • Flexibility to thrive in a changing and growing environment with the capacity to create clarity amid ambiguity • Capable of working within a large, matrixed organization with layered decision making • Knowledge of the product development preferred (e.g. user acceptance testing, functional documentation development
General Notes: - despite existing resources for productivity AI, senior production leaders reported a lack of fluency within their organizations in utilizing these tools, leading to missed opportunities for operational effectiveness - looking for someone who can act as an "air traffic controller " by connecting existing internal resources with production needs as it relates to AI tools - capture signals for new business needs not currently addressed by existing tools and sharing this information with product and tech organizations for future development - project managing ad-hoc pilot programs for third-party tools identified by the production organization
Top Qualities: - a curious mind capable of quickly grasping new concepts related to bleeding-edge technology - demonstrated experience and fluency in productivity tooling, including the ability to effectively use and teach others how to use these tools - strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders across different organizational levels - strongly preferred, though not blocking, qualification is a background or experience in studio or production roles to ensure effective communication and understanding of production partners
