An established manufacturing facility is seeking a
Maintenance Technician
to support the electrical and mechanical operations of its plant and equipment. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining production efficiency, troubleshooting issues, and supporting the reliability of manufacturing systems. Key Responsibilities
Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment.
Diagnose and repair equipment failures involving mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical systems.
Conduct preventive maintenance and support production setup activities.
Use various hand tools and power equipment to repair or install components.
Interpret and follow electrical and mechanical schematics.
Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, HMI, sensors, and 3-phase power systems.
Operate powered industrial trucks and machining tools such as lathes and mills.
Support general services such as HVAC, welding, and fabrication as needed.
Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts.
Train new maintenance team members as necessary.
Perform assigned tasks independently with minimal supervision.
Availability for some weekend work and overtime as required.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
2+ years
of hands-on experience in: Electrical troubleshooting and repair
(including PLCs, VFDs, sensors, 3-phase power)
Mechanical maintenance
(including pneumatic and hydraulic systems)
Ability to read and interpret wiring schematics and technical manuals.
Strong time management and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Must be safety-conscious and organized.
Preferred Qualifications
Associates or Bachelors degree in a related technical field.
Experience in lean manufacturing and continuous process improvement environments.
Schedule
12-hour shifts
Monday to Friday with
weekends and overtime as needed
