HKS, Inc. Overview A primary managerial position in a specific project, sharing responsibility for project successes. Recognized ability to impact revenue and growth. Manages the firms resources (people, processes, tools) and assignments proficiently. Teaches and mentors staff, embodying and expressing the firms values and mission. Responsibilities Act as the primary client relationship for respective project, understanding their mission, goals, policies, needs, and progress. Manage the execution and delivery of implementation documents through all project phases, including post-occupancy evaluation. Collaborate on the design process, including programming, schematic design, development, documentation, and construction administration. Coordinate project team interactions internally and with all project participants. Lead the project team to establish design solutions within project constraints. Lead client presentations and public hearings as needed. Monitor project risks and collaborate with relevant teams to resolve issues. Ensure detailed code, zoning, performance analysis, and deliverables meet standards and quality expectations. Manage project meetings, schedules, and action items. Attend site visits and field reviews. Mentor staff and support professional development. Develop and grow diverse talent. Resolve conflicts and promote a healthy team environment. Assist with project budgets, costs, and resourcing. Collaborate on project financial performance and billing. Understand contract scope and additional services. Participate in project pursuit and marketing efforts. Support business development activities.

Qualifications Accredited professional degree in Architecture or equivalent. Architectural Registration preferred. Typically 8+ years of experience. Sustainable design accreditation preferred. Experience in all phases of architectural design and construction. Familiarity with architectural software like Revit, AutoCAD, 3D modeling, etc. Proficiency in MS Office, including MS Project and Teams. Knowledge of sustainability, building systems, codes, and QA/QC. Strong presentation and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and lead teams collaboratively. Excellent communication skills.
