  • Schedule: Telehealth services up to 6 residents monthly; Medication Review every 45 days

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations for children before prescribing psychotropic medications
  • Treat mental health disorders using both medication and psychotherapy
  • Coordinate care with a Nurse Practitioner and other ancillary providers
  • Work with support staff on prescription refills and medication changes
  • Review and approve treatment courses
  • Prepare written medication reviews bi-monthly
  • Attend virtual care coordination meetings
  • Address urgent patient issues outside of scheduled visits

Additional Information
  • Must be licensed in California
  • Requires over 6 years of experience as a psychiatrist, specifically with adolescents and CSEC patients
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Familiarity with Epic EMR system
