We are seeking a Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day locum tenens role in Ohio. This assignment, starting on Sep 15, 2025, includes responsibilities such as rounding, first assist, and vein harvesting with a rotating call schedule. The NP will be working day shifts from 7 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday, with additional on-call duties as scheduled. This opportunity requires recent experience in using Maquet Hemopro 2 and proficiency with the Epic EMR system.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform first assist duties in cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries
  • Conduct vein harvesting procedures
  • Engage in daily rounds as part of the cardiovascular care team
  • Participate in a rotating call schedule, providing care as needed
  • Utilize the Epic EMR system for documenting and managing patient care

Additional Information
  • Must be NCCPA Certified
  • Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Must hold a valid Ohio Nurse Practitioner license
