Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist/Physician to work 24 hr call coverage locum shifts in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee (TN). Starting as soon as possible, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.
The Obstetrics and Gynecology role:
- Client looking for 24 hour beeper call only
- 2-3 patients/day
- 1-2 deliveries per day + rounding on babies as well.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Management of low- and high-risk pregnancies
- Proficiency in OB ultrasounds
- Skilled in routine deliveries (vaginal, low forceps, c-section decision-making)
- Competent in complicated deliveries (c-sections, breech, multiples, abruptions, VBACs)
- Experienced in repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
EMR: Medhost
Requirements of the Obstetrics and Gynecology role:
- TN state license; active, unrestricted
- Board certified OBGYN
- TN State DEA
- BLS, ACLS
- Covid Vaccination- Required or Medical Exemption
