- Additional Details: Clinical Practice:-Participates in the emergency department resuscitation of trauma patients.-Team lead and or assist in trauma bay for resuscitation.-First assist trauma surgeon in the OR when needed.-Participates in performance improvement, morbidity and mortality, research, outreach, and prevention.-Education of trauma Fellow, APP students, and residents.-Update families, discuss condition, and develop plan of care.-Conduct and/or coordinate education to increase the knowledge of patients, patient family, and others. -Providing appropriate instruction based on patient needs to support the continuum of care.-Train other staff in areas of clinical expertise. Provides teaching of students as appropriate to increase their clinical knowledge and ensure safe patient care.-Stay abreast of current trends in healthcare practice and participate in continuing medical education to ensure optimal clinical knowledge and effective patient care skill.Skills: Required Skills & Experience:-Patient/Acute and or Chronic Care.-Pharma Management.-Patient Assessment.-Implement Treatment Plans.-Computer keyboarding and technology.-Communication.-Life support.
