We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner specializing in vascular care to join our team at Gulf Coast Vascular Care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vascular medicine, possess excellent clinical skills, and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. This NP will work collaboratively with physicians, clinical staff and admins. Our Vascular OBL team values patients and their families. Our NP will be dedicated to delivering comprehensive vascular services, including assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care for vascular conditions.

What the job duties are:

- You will perform comprehensive assessments, including physical exams, history taking for patients with vascular disorders.
- Formulating and executing individualized treatment plans for patients with conditions such as peripheral artery disease, venous insufficiency, aneurysms, and other vascular-related issues.
- Ordering, interpreting diagnostic tests, including lab tests and imaging studies (e.g., ultrasound, CT, MRI).
- Collaborating with Vascular Surgeons and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and referrals as necessary.
- Providing education to patients and families regarding vascular conditions, treatment options, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care.
- Monitoring patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed, including prescribing medications and administering therapies.
- You will participate in patient consultations and follow-up appointments, ensuring continuity of care.
- Maintaining accurate, timely documentation of patient encounters, treatments, and progress in the electronic health record.
- Staying current with advancements in vascular health and evidence-based practices.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of clinical protocols and practice guidelines.
- Engaging in community outreach and education to promote vascular health awareness.

What we want to see from you:

- Master s degree in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in Nurse Practitioner.
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in MS with prescriptive authority.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner through a recognized board (e.g., ANCC, AANP).
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in vascular care OR related field.
- Strong knowledge of vascular anatomy, pathology, and treatment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

- Experience in a vascular surgery setting would highly valued.

- Certification in vascular nursing (e.g., CVNP, CRNP-BC) or working towards it.
