Position Summary

We are seeking an entrepreneurial leader to establish and scale our new Collectible Toys business on the Walmart Marketplace. Building on our foundational strength in the industry, you will have end-to-end ownership of this critical growth initiative. Operating with a founder's mindset, you will be responsible for defining the vision, building the team, and owning the financial outcomes to establish Walmart as a premier destination for collectors.

You will operate with the agility of a startup, testing new channels like live commerce, forging strategic partnerships, and creating immersive brand activations at events like Comic-Con, all while leveraging the unparalleled scale and resources of Walmart. What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities

You will have full ownership of the category's success. Your work will be consolidated into four key pillars:

  • Strategic Leadership & P&L Ownership: Develop the end-to-end business strategy and vision for the Collectible Toys category. Own the full P&L, driving GMV and profitability through data analysis, forecasting, and planning. Architect the assortment strategy, launching new sub-categories to win the market.
  • Ecosystem & Partnership Development: Build brand acquisition and growth playbook, forge relationships with brands like LEGO, Mattel, NECA, Bandai. Develop strategic partnerships with IP holders, studios, influencers, and industry players. Create a seller acquisition pipeline with tailored growth strategies.
  • Go-to-Market & Community Engagement: Collaborate with Marketing and Merchandising to create an authentic customer experience. Pioneer growth channels such as social commerce, live-streaming, and retail activations. Engage with the community to build brand loyalty.
  • Team & Cross-Functional Leadership: Hire and mentor a team of growth managers. Advocate for your category vision organization-wide, influencing product and engineering roadmaps. Collaborate with merchandising teams to develop an omni-channel strategy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years in category management, business management, or strategic partnerships, preferably in e-commerce or tech.
  • 5+ years managing high-performing teams.
  • Experience developing and executing complex strategies.
  • Exceptional negotiation and executive presence.
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

The annual salary range for this position is $143,000 - $286,000, with additional performance-based bonuses and stock options.
