Overview:

Sigma is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel, Privacy who will report to Sigma's General Counsel. This person will help ensure Sigma meets global privacy requirements. As a privacy specialist at Sigma, the Senior Corporate Counsel, Privacy will assist with integrating privacy, risk, and compliance into Sigma’s business processes, operations, and product development.

Sigma is a next-generation analytics and business intelligence platform empowering business users to explore and analyze cloud data with the full power of SQL in a familiar spreadsheet interface.

Experience:

• 6-8+ years of legal experience in a law firm and in-house legal department.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of privacy law, including US and European data protection law (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, HIPAA).
• CIPP/US or CIPP/EU certification and data security incidents experience is preferred.

Compensation:

$240,000 - $270,000 plus equity eligibility.

Location:

San Francisco, California. Hybrid arrangement with presence in the office four days a week.

Bar:

Admission to at least one state bar, with the ability to practice in California.
