Our food manufacturing client seeks a passionate and energetic VP of Supply Chain to lead their rapidly growing team in optimizing logistics, planning, and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of leadership experience, with a proven ability to drive efficiency, foster collaboration, and maintain strong customer and vendor relationships. If you’re a strategic thinker with strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills this could be the next role for you.

This role is onsite in McMinnville, Oregon.

Due to the nature of this role and immediate business needs, we are only considering candidates currently residing in McMinnville, Oregon and surrounding area.

VP, Supply Chain Responsibilities

  • Lead a high-performing supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Drive production planning utilizing a MRP, direct inventory control strategies, and replenishment schedules to reduce waste and ensure efficiency.
  • Oversee and optimize 3PL logistics and transportation, and customer service to ensure on-time deliveries and strong customer relationships.
  • Lead warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, and layout optimization for streamlined material flow.
  • Responsible for supervision of 45+ direct and indirect reports.

VP, Supply Chain Qualifications

  • Must have food manufacturing experience, with strong knowledge of food safety and quality standards.
  • Proven ability to provide effective leadership over automated warehouse planning and operations for multiple locations.
  • Proven ability to manage contracts, negotiations, and cost savings.
  • At least 10 years of leadership experience in supply chain management with an emphasis on 3PL, warehousing and MRP planning.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • SAP experience and proficiency with procurement tools/software.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Compensation: $180k-$220k (DOE) + Bonus
