Position Details

• Title: Head Coach
• Sport: Soccer
• Campus: SMART High School
• Pay: $4108.00, divided among coaches, determined before the season
• Season: August 1 - November 1, 2025 (postseason may extend into November)

Essential Functions

• Follow school and league rules
• Attend preseason and postseason meetings
• Meet regularly with the Athletic Director
• Organize and supervise practices (minimum twice weekly)
• Manage assistant coaches and team equipment
• Communicate with players, families, and school community
• Ensure proper supervision and conduct of the team
• Represent the school professionally
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements and Preferred Qualifications

• Experience and understanding of soccer; coaching interest
• Teamwork and communication skills
• Commitment to anti-racist and anti-oppressive practices
• Spanish language skills (preferred)
• Experience with marginalized communities (preferred)
