What You'll Do

As Portfolio Manager III - Commercial, you'll be responsible for analyzing, structuring, underwriting, and coordinating the closing of major and complex loans in compliance with the Bank's lending policies and procedures. You will work with the Vice President, Commercial Banker to manage loans, ensuring credit risks are responsibly monitored and identified. You will assist in achieving bank, region, and branch goals through active participation in underwriting and closing desirable credits. You will also ensure compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.

  • Interface with clients alongside the Vice President, Commercial Banker to assess credit needs and determine analysis requirements.
  • Gather and analyze information to present financing requests to senior management or Loan Committee for approval, along with the Relationship Manager.
  • Coordinate processing of approved loans, ensuring they conform to agreements, customer needs, and bank policies; obtain necessary documentation; assist in resolving processing and servicing issues.
  • Promote superior customer service through example and follow-up.
  • Handle underwriting, portfolio management, and other related tasks for new and existing loans.

What You'll Need

  • 6+ years of related experience in Portfolio Management or similar.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of banking operations, including deposit, loan, treasury management, and other banking products.
  • Understanding of regulatory and legal compliance obligations.
  • Knowledge of commercial credit, loan structuring, and pricing; credit analyst training completed.
  • Excellent communication skills.
