The Team
We are the TikTok Shop Mass Acquisition and Incubation team in the US, dedicated to empowering brands and sellers worldwide to unlock the explosive growth potential of TT E-commerce in US. Join us in redefining how brands connect, sell, and thrive in the era of short-form video commerce.
The Role
Lead US merchant recruitment with a partner-first approach. Leverage existing networks to identify high-value brands, craft tailored growth strategies, and drive scalable onboarding. You'll bridge brand ambitions with TikTok Shop's ecosystem, ensuring long-term partnership success.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing: Target premium US brands (DTC, niche, enterprise) in priority categories (fashion, beauty, electronics) via cold outreach, industry events, and partner referrals.
- Value Creation: Design personalized pitches highlighting TikTok Shop's algorithmic reach, live streaming tools, and engagement features—aligning with merchant growth goals.
- Partner-Driven Onboarding: Nurture C-suite/VP-level relationships, leveraging existing partner resources to accelerate acquisition. Collaborate with ops/marketing for seamless setup (content workshops, campaign planning).
- Data-Driven Execution: Track metrics (conversion rates, pipeline velocity) and refine strategies using market insights. Ensure compliance with TikTok policies and optimize workflows for scale.
- Network Expansion: Grow our US partner ecosystem by identifying strategic alliances (agencies, industry associations) to amplify reach.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years in partner/merchant acquisition within e-commerce, with a proven track record of hitting targets in cross-border/US markets.
- Existing network of US DTC brand contacts, agencies, or industry partners—ready to activate for recruitment.
- Deep understanding of US e-commerce (Amazon, Shopify) and social commerce (TikTok Shop, Instagram Shopping) dynamics.
- Expertise in crafting executive-level pitches, negotiating partnerships, and solving merchant pain points.
- Analytical mindset: use CRM/data tools to drive strategy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience with TikTok Shop, social commerce platforms, or managing partner ecosystems.
- History of building scalable acquisition pipelines via strategic partnerships.
- Passion for TikTok trends—bonus if you're a platform power user!

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $136000 - $273000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
