About the Role

Backend-leaning Full-Stack Engineer is needed to help build the core platform behind Wonderwall’s user experience and internal logic. You’ll work closely with the founder and early teammates to architect systems that bridge digital planning with real-world construction.

What You’ll Do

• Design and build foundational backend systems

• Develop and maintain internal APIs and data models to support key workflows

• Integrate external data sources into structured internal logic

• Contribute to early architectural decisions and development best practices

You Might Be

• A backend engineer who thrives on real-world logic and fast iteration

• Comfortable working across the stack when needed, with an eye for clean systems

• Experienced with spatial data, APIs, or infrastructure tools (or eager to learn)

• Excited to help shape a digital platform that impacts the built environment

• Drawn to first-principles thinking, minimalism, and intentional design

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and backend frameworks

• Experience building and maintaining scalable backend systems

• Comfort working with structured and semi-structured data

• Strong system design skills focused on modularity and performance

• • Bonus: Exposure to geospatial data, mapping APIs, or real estate platforms
