Responsibilities
- Work closely with product teams to identify research topics.
- Design studies that address both user behavior and attitudes.
- Generate insights that fuel ideation and evaluate designs.
- Conduct research using qualitative and quantitative methods, including interviews, focus groups, diary studies, field studies, usability tests, and surveys.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders across design, product management, content design, data science, engineering, and marketing.
- Communicate results and suggestions compellingly and creatively.
- Embed with product teams to conduct applied research on user behaviors, motivations, and attitudes.
- Perform qualitative research to influence organizational strategy, product direction, and features.
- Analyze user data through thematic analysis, persona development, journey mapping, and surveys.
- Telecommute from anywhere in the US.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Human-Computer Interaction, Anthropology) and two years of experience in user experience research or related roles.
- Two years of experience in handling complex information, designing research studies, managing research operations, analyzing user insights, and communicating findings to stakeholders.
Public Compensation: $188,219 - $221,540 per year + bonus, equity, benefits.
