Your Future Role
Miter has been growing rapidly over the past year and is showing no signs of slowing down in 2025. We started 2024 with a small team of engineers and have doubled that in the past 12 months with plans to double again in the coming year. We have charted out an ambitious and eagerly-awaited product roadmap and want to ship it to our customers as fast as we can.
This is a hybrid role with 3 in-office days per week — Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday — in either our San Francisco or New York office.

As a Full Stack Engineer here, you won’t be stuck in a feature factory or endlessly refining abstract systems. You’ll work directly with cross-functional partners to scope, build, and ship meaningful product features that solve real problems for real users — from HR and finance teams to field crews on the jobsite.
You’ll join a fast-moving, tight-knit team of builders who value speed, clarity, and craftsmanship. We’re in a phase of rapid growth, which means you’ll get to wear multiple hats, influence product direction, and help us scale our engineering practices as we double in size again.
You’ll have autonomy, mentorship, and room to grow — plus the support of teammates who care deeply about their craft and each other. Whether you’re sketching out a new system architecture or pairing on a tricky bug, you’ll be surrounded by people who are curious, driven, and mission-aligned.
What You'll Help Build
- Join one of our three project teams: Human Capital Management, Platform & Integrations, or Field Operations.
- Scope and lead new mission-critical features end-to-end
- Design and implement new processes and systems enhancing our entire engineering organization’s productivity
- Be involved and provide input in product and strategic decision-making
- Interface with our customers for feedback and feature requests
- 5+ years of work experience as a full stack engineer, ideally in a fast-growing technical SaaS company
- Have a strong product/user orientation
- Have led large and complex technical products in the past
- Enjoy making decisions independently and under uncertainty
- Are equally comfortable designing frontend UIs and backend APIs
- Take a modular approach to building infrastructure and services
