This position manages and configures Workday HRIS, ensuring seamless HR processes, data integrity, and system optimization. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience with Workday, including Core HCM, business process administration, calculated fields, payroll support, and integrations, especially using Workday EIB.
As the Workday HRIS Manager, you will collaborate with HR and IT teams to support system configuration, integration, and ongoing improvements. You will oversee bi-annual updates and ensure Workday meets organizational needs. Responsibilities also include managing support tickets via Workday Community, resolving system issues, and developing training materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Workday Configuration & Management:
- Oversee Workday HCM system configuration, data integrity, and efficiency.
- Lead bi-annual updates, testing, and system optimization.
- Manage Core HCM configuration, security, and user interfaces.
- Administer and troubleshoot integrations, create simple integrations using EIB.
- Business Process & System Optimization:
- Design, test, and deploy HR workflows.
- Create calculated fields for reporting and automation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders for system enhancements.
- Payroll Support:
- Support payroll processes, troubleshoot issues, ensure data accuracy and compliance.
- Data Reporting & Analytics:
- Develop reports and dashboards for decision-making.
- Ensure reporting data accuracy with HR and Finance teams.
- Ticket Management:
- Manage support tickets with Workday Community, troubleshoot, escalate issues, and maintain relationships with support teams.
- Training & Job Aids:
- Develop and update training materials and job aids.
- Train HR staff, managers, and end-users.
- Update materials to reflect system changes and new features.
- Serve as Workday subject matter expert for troubleshooting and guidance.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years managing and configuring Workday HRIS, including Core HCM, business processes, integrations, and payroll.
- Strong knowledge of Workday modules and updates.
- Advanced experience with Workday integrations and EIB.
- Experience creating support tickets and working with support teams.
- Proven ability to produce training documentation.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Workday Certifications in relevant modules.
- Experience with Workday security roles and HR best practices.
Compensation Range
$107,000 - $130,000 annually.
