About the Role

As a Founding Frontend Engineer at Cenna, you will lead the creation of intuitive, high-performance user interfaces for our agentic services platform. Your work will define the user experience, ensuring our AI-powered products are accessible, responsive, and visually compelling.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build responsive, user-friendly interfaces using modern frontend technologies
  • Implement pixel-perfect designs that align with product vision and user needs
  • Optimize frontend performance for speed, scalability, and accessibility
  • Collaborate with backend and AI engineers to integrate APIs and AI-driven features
  • Work with product and design teams to iterate on UI/UX based on user feedback
  • Establish frontend architecture, coding standards, and best practices
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence

Requirements

  • 5+ years of frontend development experience
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and modern UI libraries (e.g., Tailwind, Material-UI, Shadcn)
  • Experience with state management (Redux, Zustand, or similar)
  • Knowledge of web performance optimization and accessibility standards
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Nice to Have

  • Experience building interfaces for AI-driven or data-intensive applications
  • Knowledge of WebGL, animations, or advanced visualization techniques
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for frontend deployment
  • Contributions to open-source frontend projects
  • Prior experience in a startup or rapid-growth environment
