Job Description Summary
Work with VD&C Manager & Assigned Project to create field-related layout, detail, and coordination drawings.
Compensation Range
$81,300.00 - $122,000.00 Annual Salary
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Collaborate with on-site project team to update models reflecting as-built conditions.
- Utilize Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks for project coordination and to develop accurate layout, detail, and coordination drawings.
- Establish and maintain project standards in conjunction with the VD&C Manager and team, improving systems for consistent layout, detailing, and coordination across the division.
- Lead the implementation of these technologies on large-scale construction projects.
- Manage, train, and supervise project team members in creating and updating drawings.
- Provide technical support for Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other BIM software and hardware.
- Assist in developing and setting up the BIM Model Server platform.
- Integrate 3D Laser Scanning into project procedures.
- Stay updated on hardware/software capabilities and train others accordingly.
- Participate in collaborations with Swinerton Labs and The Center For Excellence.
- Develop digital images, renderings, and videos for marketing and proposals.
- Support firm-wide BIM standards and 3D CAD tools in coordination with IT and VDC staff.
- Contribute to the adoption of Virtual Design & Construction programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:
- 3-4 years experience with Revit & AutoCAD in architecture, engineering, or construction modeling.
- Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
- Expertise in AutoCAD and Revit Architecture/Structural.
- Experience with Navisworks and survey/layout.
- Strong communication and multitasking skills.
