What are we looking for?
We seek a Senior Data Scientist to help us scale and increase our impact by optimizing marketing efforts through advanced data analysis. You will work on marketing inference efforts, including our Marketing Mix Model and Attribution models, analyzing large and complex datasets related to web products.
What will you do?
- Extract insights from large datasets and collaborate proactively with marketing to test data-driven ideas for improving efficiency.
- Develop, implement, and maintain marketing models such as Bayesian Marketing Mix and Data-Driven Attribution models.
- Monitor and analyze marketing uplift tests with statistical rigor, presenting insights to inform marketing decisions.
- Address complex problems with testable models and algorithms that have measurable business impact.
- Collaborate with team members, enjoy the process, and contribute to building a meaningful product.

Can I work remotely?
Yes. We operate on PST hours, and candidates worldwide are welcome. Travel to our San Jose, CA office is expected up to three times a year, with expenses covered and accommodations provided for special circumstances.
Requirements
- BSc/MA in Statistics, Math, Economics, CS, Operations Research, or Engineering.
- 5-8+ years experience in quantitative data analysis involving user behavior and large datasets.
- Expertise in statistics, hypothesis testing, and experiment design.
- Experience analyzing A/B tests and advanced statistical methods.
- Proficiency in building predictive and causal inference models.
- Skilled in analyzing complex data to support business decisions.
- Proficient in R and Python for data analysis.
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Advanced SQL experience.
Bonus Skills
- Bayesian modeling experience.
- Experience with Marketing Mix and Multi-Touch Attribution models.
- Experience analyzing two-sided marketplaces and B2C products.
- Familiarity with BI tools like Tableau and Looker.
