The Head of Product Marketing, US will be responsible for leading and driving the Product Marketing strategy for Straits LLC corporate and retail business in US. This leadership position requires a deep understanding of the trading of US futures, options and forex markets, clients’ requirements, and the ability to develop, implement, and execute product and marketing strategies that expand the firm's market presence and profitability in USA.
The individual will work closely with the US base Sales and Management teams to deliver product solutions, identify growth opportunities, and establish long-term profitability for Straits LLC.
Key Responsibilities:
· Define and own the product roadmap for Futures, Options, and FX (Forex) offerings across retail and institutional segments.
· Coordinate with trading, risk, and compliance teams to develop new derivatives products or enhance existing ones (e.g., FX margin accounts, options strategies, futures spreads).
· Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify product gaps and commercial opportunities.
· Oversee product lifecycle management: development, launch, enhancement, and decommissioning.
· Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns (digital, email, content, events) to promote FX and derivatives products.
· Position products with tailored messaging for retail and corporate segments (e.g., risk hedging for corporates vs. tactical strategies for retail).
· Build educational content and market commentary (e.g., webinars, trading guides, case studies) to engage and convert clients.
· Collaborate with sales and business development teams to design go-to-market strategies and campaign assets.
· Identify and target high-potential client segments (e.g., active day traders, commodity hedgers, export/import companies).
· Track and analyse client behaviour, acquisition costs, churn, and profitability by segment.
· Develop and refine customer journeys, onboarding flows, and product experiences that enhance engagement and retention.
· Collaborate with product design and IT teams to optimize trading platforms (desktop, mobile, API) for usability and performance.
· Gather and prioritize user feedback and market trends to inform UI/UX decisions.
· Ensure integration of key features such as charting tools, advanced order types, and automated trading capabilities.
5. Compliance & Risk Alignment
· Work with compliance and legal teams to ensure all marketing and product materials meet regulatory standards (e.g., CFTC, NFA, SEC).
· Monitor product usage and client behaviours to flag potential misconduct, fraud, or regulatory issues.
· Prepare internal documentation and external disclosures in line with best practices and legal frameworks.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Act as the bridge between trading, risk, compliance, marketing, and technology.
· Lead product launches and cross-departmental initiatives, ensuring timelines and KPIs are met.
· Provide sales enablement tools and training to internal teams and external partners.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field. MBA or other advanced degrees are a plus.
· At least 5+ years of experience in Product and Marketing development, with a significant focus on the Futures and Options, Forex markets.
· Marketing of product or platforms related to futures, options, forex is absolutely required.
· Proven experience in hiring and management of Product and Marketing team is a requirement
· Ability to work closely and collaborate with colleagues both in the US and overseas
Technical & Financial Knowledge:
· Extensive knowledge of the trading of financial and commodity markets, highly sensitive to the trends and development within the relevant markets is necessary.
· Strong understanding of trading platforms, trading tools, and the technological landscape.
· Familiarity with the US financial regulatory environment (NFA, CFTC, SEC etc.) and compliance practices.
Skills & Experience Requirements:
· Deep understanding of futures, options, and FX markets, instruments, trading strategies, and client use cases.
· Experience in both corporate and retail trading environments—ideally from a brokerage, exchange, or fintech platform.
· Proven ability to manage multi-channel marketing strategies, including performance marketing, CRM, and thought leadership.
· Familiarity with trading platforms (e.g., MetaTrader, DX Trade XT, CQG, TradingView, proprietary systems) and APIs.
· Understanding of U.S. financial regulations (CFTC/NFA) and marketing compliance standards.
Preferred Attributes:
· Experience in product marketing (FX/Futures and Options), partnership within US market.
· Strong existing network with suppliers, media, advertising agencies and promotion companies, affiliate websites for F&O, forex trading community in US market.
· Relevant and current experience with marketing initiatives by Straits LLC key competitors (such as Ninja Trader, StoneX, IG and OANDA)
