A highly regarded regional CPA firm in Jericho is seeking an experienced Tax Director to take over a well-established book of business focused on real estate clients and high-net-worth individuals. This is a rare opportunity to step into a leadership role with immediate client responsibility and long-term growth potential, including a path to partner.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge in real estate taxation and individual tax planning, along with the ability to lead client relationships, manage engagements, and mentor a team. Our firm offers a collegial, high-touch environment and the support of an experienced group of professionals dedicated to exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead tax planning, compliance, and advisory services for real estate partnerships, developers, and high-net-worth clients
• Manage and build client relationships with an emphasis on responsiveness and strategic insight
• Supervise, mentor, and develop junior staff and managers
• Collaborate with partners on client strategy and firm growth initiatives

Qualifications:

• CPA required; MST preferred
• 10+ years of progressive public accounting experience
• Deep knowledge of real estate tax structures and individual tax planning
• Proven leadership and client-facing skills
