Client is a rapidly growing construction materials provider, known for our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Estimator / Bid Administrator to join our dynamic team.
Role: Estimator / Bid Administrator
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in bid administration or estimating
  • Experience using PlanSwift, a construction takeoff and estimating software tool.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage the complete bid process, including reviewing project specifications, drawings, and other documents
  • Create/manage Material take-offs
  • Develop accurate cost estimates by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather necessary information and ensure bid accuracy
  • Submit bids in a timely manner, adhering to strict deadlines
  • Track and follow up on submitted bids and proposals
  • Maintain and update bid documentation and databases
  • Provide support during the negotiation phase to secure contracts
  • Stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and competitive landscape
