Base pay range

$200,000.00/yr - $300,000.00/yr

We are currently partnered with a leading private equity firm seeking a Vice President of Business Development to drive the firm's proprietary deal sourcing efforts.

Vice President of Business Development Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a proactive deal sourcing strategy across target sectors
Build and maintain relationships with investment banks, M&A advisors, family offices, and entrepreneurs
Identify and evaluate new investment opportunities aligned with the firm's investment thesis
Collaborate with the investment team to assess opportunities and structure transactions
Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking functions
Monitor market trends and competitive activity to refine sourcing strategies
Contribute to brand-building and thought leadership initiatives

Vice President of Business Development Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field
7+ years of experience in private equity, corporate development, or M&A advisory
Proven track record in deal origination and relationship management
Deep understanding of private market transactions, valuation, and investment structures
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Willingness to travel up to 75% monthly for meetings and events
