Position Overview:


Anaplan is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated SENIOR SOLUTIONS CONSULTANT to join our vibrant TMT PRE SALES TEAM in SAN FRANCISCO, CA . This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with leading Technology, Media, and Telco organizations.


As a Senior Solutions Consultant, you will be part of a market-leading SaaS vendor, influencing a changing industry. You will combine your passion for numbers and sales, with success rewarded through an outstanding commission structure in a fast-paced, stimulating environment.


You will bring a confident voice, influence, and the ability to clearly articulate value. Partnering with TMT sales teams, you will research customer businesses, understand their industries, and bring a well-informed, perspective-driven approach to conversations. As a value-based seller, you will focus on what matters most to the customer—aligning solutions with key value metrics and positioning new products as strategic drivers delivering measurable outcomes.

This is an immediate full-time position.


Impact Highlights:


  • Engage with targeted, large enterprise TMT prospects to identify business process issues and pain points

  • Understand customer challenges and creatively demonstrate how Anaplan can solve them

  • Build your presales brand and influence customer success

  • Deliver solutions, demos, and messaging specific to planning functions

  • Develop Proof of Concept models tailored to prospects' needs

  • Mentor teammates on solution expertise

  • Create product awareness in the marketplace

Qualifications and Skills:


  • Minimum of 3 years experience in FP&A presales, implementation, or related roles

  • Experience designing finance or workforce planning solutions that meet client needs

  • Quick learner with a strong aptitude for Anaplan's Connected Planning platform and its value

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-changing environment

  • Deep understanding of EPM, CRM, HCM cloud platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, Workday)

  • Skill in mapping and optimizing business workflows

  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and relationship-building skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field preferred

Plus:


  • Knowledge of Financial Close and Consolidation processes
  • Advanced Excel proficiency
  • Experience with multi-dimensional data modeling, BI, or analytics solutions

Salary Range: $139,000 — $188,000 USD
